We've reached 300 apartments in Spain by incorporating our new building, Aragón 90, in Barcelona

Caterina has just opened her 21st building in Spain, a property in Barcelona located on Aragón Street, commercially named Aragón 90, adding 34 apartments to the company's portfolio in the three cities it operates in. With these 34 units, the company surpasses 300 units in its portfolio before the year's end, almost doubling the number available at the end of 2022.

Aragón 90 is owned by Meridia Capital Partners and is the building that allows the company to exceed its projections for this period. Caterina has acquired an asset in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district that includes common areas, a gym, coworking spaces, and a laundry room, adding value to the residential offer, providing an enhanced experience for the residents. Out of the 34 apartments, 29 have two bedrooms (four of which are penthouses with private terraces) and five have one bedroom.

Aragón 90 epitomizes the 'flexible living' concept that the company focuses on as a business model, offering serviced apartments and a homely feel for medium-term stays, meeting the expectations of both remote professionals and guests seeking prime urban locations to blend work and leisure. It's worth noting that Caterina's pursuit of this building dates back to 2019 when the company first expressed interest in incorporating it into its national portfolio.

Now, with Caterina's growth and expansion in Madrid and Málaga, coupled with an ambitious interior design project, Aragón 90 stands as one of the flagship properties managed by Caterina.

A meticulous and specific interior design project

Regarding the building's interior design, Caterina's responsible team has undertaken a specific and exclusive project to provide maximum comfort and align with the company's product conception for residents' utmost convenience.

Customized furniture has been employed for this project, achieving complete originality in terms of color, structure, and spatial design. The interior design of this project harmonizes with the building's structure, featuring a highly industrial central staircase, yet introducing warmth and a homely feel within the apartments through the use of natural woods and textures. The furniture design reflects an industrial yet modern inspiration, creating a balanced and attractive ambiance through neutral tones and colorful fabrics and walls.

Additionally, acoustic coatings have been used to enhance the design and introduce more wood into the spaces. Lighting plays a significant role in Aragón 90's interior design, striking a delicate balance between natural light - particularly emphasized in the penthouses - and decorative lighting, present in various forms such as floor lamps, table lamps, and ceiling fixtures to create diverse spaces and corners.

Exclusive workspaces and a vertical garden

All apartments in Aragón 90 boast two workspaces: a primary desk and a secondary space, which can be a multifunctional high bar near the kitchen or a suspended desk in the living rooms. Additionally, third solutions for computer desks are incorporated, offering multiple working options within the apartments.

Finally, concerning the communal areas, they are characterized by an oasis-like design with abundant plants and trees, artisanal lamps, and warm LED lighting to illuminate the vertical garden at the entrance and gym.

Thanks to its recent partnership with Meridia Capital Partners, Caterina benefits from the support of a leading alternative investment manager in Spain with over 1 billion euros in assets under management. Furthermore, the operator works as a specialized proptech company with a high degree of digitalization, enabling it to create an optimal residential experience tailored to the demands of today's professionals.
